Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actor from the United States. Her film debut was during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack actors. She also appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for over 20 years. She started her career in acting by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her debut success in a film, the actress appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club has been hailed as being among the most memorable films of high school cinema. Although the film's budget was only $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. The actress also appeared on a number of television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. The show was targeted at teens and started in April 1980. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances by Sheedy include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie that tells the story of a hero, in which she appears in a cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing appearances, was awarded numerous prizes. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
