Felicity jones is a British actor best famous for her portrayal of Jane Hawking. She played Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything, the film that received acclaim from critics. Jones began acting at twelve years old. She has worked as an actor in numerous TV shows, plays and film. She started her career with the TV film The Treasure Seekers. She then appeared as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch followed by the sequel Weirdsister college. Her first film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many films. Her acting gained her fame in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. However, it was the performance she gave as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything that made her the recipient of an Oscar for the very first time. Jones as Stephen Hawking's second wife in the biopic, was rewarded with plenty of praise from critics as well as viewers due to the manner in which she depicted her. She was then seen in Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded her the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. The award was given for her extraordinary talent and contribution towards film.
